A solid, well-preserved and VG octavo in its wonderful pictorial boards, with a neat 1893 Christmas inscription --and school presentation below-- on the front free endpaper. A bit of of light foxing as well along several of the margins but the plates are uniformly bright and clean. A nice example of Victorian children's book design. Collectible; Very Good. Item #9197
