Wonderful Cuban magazine (issued monthly) devoted to the Arts and to sophisiticated, luxurious living. 3 issues (April 1921, April-May 1923) bound together in quarto cloth boards. The contents of each issue are clean and well-preserved, the pages bright white. Lavishly illustrated, with tasteful, artistic ads thruout, offering a glimpse of upper class living in the Havana of the early 30s. The duotone cloth boards (with bright gilt-lettering at the spine) show wear and abrading but, more importantly, have protected the magazines within. A nice piece of early Cuban cultural history, when money --even in the heights of the Great Depression-- seemed to be flowing in from everywhere. Collectible; Very Good. Item #6724
