DOWD, "CAPTAIN USN -- ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF FOR INTELLIGENCE" AND, BASED ON THE LETTERHEAD, ISSUED BY "COMMANDER U.S. NAVAL FORCES, VIETNAM". Followed by a 2 pg. Index and then straight into the Patrol Identification Guide Itself, a pictorial profiling and identifying of the various ships expected to be found in the waters along the enormous Vietnamese coast. 78 separate photos of the different ships from different nations the American Navy might encounter, all identified in one way or another, 33 of the photos with handwritten corrections and/or additions to the profiles. Also includes pages on "How to Recognize a Forged I.D. Card", tax records for "Sea Junk and Boat Records", "Translation of Fisherman's I.D. Card", Divided into 7 different sections within a plastic and black leatherette permabinding (very functional, not very aesthetic).
