Thunder Road (Only 6 Copies in This Limitation, Signed by Both Bruce Springsteen and Bruce Hornby) SIGNED

Los Angeles: Synaesthesia Press, 2006. Pictorial cloth. A lovely Fine Press collaboaration between Bruce Springsteen and author Nick Hornby ("High Fidelity", "Fever Pitch", etc.). Created in 2006 by Synaesthesia Press of Los Angeles in an edition of 232 copies (broken down as follows: 200 numbered, unsigned copies in wraps, and 32 hardbound copies -- ALL OF THESE SIGNED BY THE 2 BRUCES, SPRINGSTEEN AND HORNBY. Of these 32 signed hardbound copies, 26 are lettered and the remaining 6 --the scarcest limitation of all-- come with custom clamshell cases). THIS IS #4 OF THOSE 6 COPIES. In beautiful condition to boot. Clean and Fine in its dark cloth, while genuinely approaching pristine. Bruce Hornby's essay and Bruce Springsteen's lyrics (on which their original inscriptions appear) are both contained within an elegant custom-made cloth chemise. An accompanying wrappered presentation of the essay and lyrics is included as well and both the chemise and the wrappered presentation are housed inside of the handsome custom clamshell case. "Concept by Mark Cashion and Jim Camp. Text designed and printed via letterpress in Los Angeles at Synasthesia Press by Jim Camp (WHO ALSO SIGNED THIS COPY NEXT TO HIS NAME). Covers designed, printed slowly and patiently via letterpress and hand bound in Newark, Delaware, by Bill Roberts of Bottle of Smoke Press, Ray Nichols/Jill Cypher of Lead Graffiti, and Mark Cashion. The cover illustration by Jill Cypher is printed in black on Somerset Velvet Black and in white on a mulberry paper flysheet around the essay." (from the colophon).
