London: Chapman and Hall, 1885. Cloth. The uncommon 1885 1st edition, with its lovely chromolithographed frontispiece and title page (separated only by their original tissue-guard). Solid and VG in its red cloth, with bright gilt-insignia and titling along the front panel and spine respectively. Light, forgiveable soiling to the panels, very minor creasing at the spine crown. A bit of staining and discoloration at the base of the spine but, happily, none of this bleeds through to the interior. All 14 full-page maps within the text are present and in very sharp condition.
