Florida Architecture of Addison Mizner

Florida Architecture of Addison Mizner

New York: William Helburn, Inc., 1928. 1/4 cloth. A solid, well-preserved copy of the 1928 1st edition of this major monograph on the Florida-centered work of architect Addison Mizner (1872-1933). Tight and VG+ in the publisher's 1/4 russet cloth over marbled boards. Very light wear to the tips and just a touch at the spine crown and the spine's paper title-label (which is still bright and very legible). Tasteful former owner bookplate to the front pastedown, otherwise very clean internally. A bit of very light, inoffensive waviness to the pages as well. Folio, top-edge gilt. 185 lovely captioned gravure illustrations along each recto. Foreword by Paris Singer, Introduction ("Appreciation of a Layman") by Ida M. Tarbell. Very Good +. Item #19009

Price: $850.00
