Printing: News--Marketing--Management--Craftsmanship (11 Issues--1932 thru 1934)

New York: Walden, Sons & Mott, Inc., 1932-1934. Original wraps. A solid, very presentable grouping of 11 issues (all published between 1932 and 1934) of this uncommon semi-monthly trade magazine devoted to all things (graphic arts, typography, offsetting, lay-out, design, etc.) connected to the world of printing. All 11 issues are bright and VG to VG+ in their decorative, very nicely-designed wrappers. 5 of the issues show light wear and creasing along the spine bases, 3 of the issues have thin, light vertical creases running down the front panels and the final 3 issues have the word "Received" (undoubtedly an institutional marking) neatly stamped onto the front panels--but show no other markings of any kind. Conventionally-formatted, magazine-sized quartos, with dozens and dozens of charming period ads as well as an abundance of black-and-white (and occasional color) photos and illustrations to supplement the text. Each issue tinged with subtle (and often not so subtle) Art Deco flourishes as well. Very Good +. Item #17526
