The 1963 1st Argentinian edition of this collection of chess games compiled by Genrikh Kasparian (1910-1995), the Armenian International Grandmaster considered to have been one of the great composers of chess endgame studies. Complete in 2 volumes. Both volumes solid and VG+ in their pictorial wrappers, with very light abrading along the spine crowns. Otherwise, clean as could be, with no writing or markings internally save for light pencil annotations at Vol. I's rear endpaper. Thick octavos, translated from its original Russian into Spanish by Estanislao Zaks. Very impressive compilation of 2,500 endgame positions as analyzed by G.M. Kasparian. Very Good +. Item #17500
