My Philadelphia Father. Cordelia Drexel Biddle.

My Philadelphia Father

Garden City, N.Y. Doubleday & Company, 1955. Cloth. The 1955 stated 1st edition. Tight and VG+ in a bright, price-intact, VG- dustjacket, with splitting along the front flap-fold (which has been nicely secured by clear-plastic mylar), pronounced chipping along the spine (at its ends and one piece the size of a dime to the middle) and chipping at the tips. Still though, a solid and presentable copy of this lighthearted look at "one of Philadelphia's wealthiest and most influential families", specifically in this case a "rollicking biography of Colonel A.J. Drexel Biddle". Octavo, a generous sampling of crisp black-and-white photos accompanies the text, which was told by Cordelia Drexel Biddle to Kyle Crichton. Very Good + / Very Good -. Item #17190
