A number of the pages show light wear and offsetting, tipped-in engraved portraits at the pastedowns of opera singers Jenny Stubel and Marie Geistinger, and light wear to the hinges and endsheets. And yet, in spite of these clear signs of the book's age (did we also mention wear and light chipping along a number of the page edges and several loose pages?), the catalogue remains surprisinglhy presentable in its dark-green cloth and bright gilt-titling.
