Tight and Near Fine in a bright, price-intact, VG dustjacket, with a 2" closed tear along the spine crown, very light chipping at the foot of the spine and a 1 1/2" chip along the rear panel's top-edge. Still though, attractive and very presentable. Octavo, Walker Evans's remarkable black-and-white portraits from the late 30s and early 40s of riders on the New York City subways, preceded by James Agee's astonishing meditation on isolation.
