1969 1st edition, limited to 250 copies "bound in Swedish-made Ingres papers over boards and vellum spine". Bright and clean and solidly VG+, with gilt-decorated front panel. Light fading to the gilt-lettering at the spine, otherwise clean as could be. Octavo, 30 recto pgs., which include the carefully-chosen type designs by Elliot Offner, who also wrote an introduction to this edition. Also includes a copy of publisher's original prospectus.

Wonderful type foundry catalogue, undated but circa mid to late 1920s. Barnhart Brothers & Spindler, based in Chicago and offering "Selective Specimens of Preferred Materials for Modern Typography". They also call themselves "Superior Specialists for Printers" and "Type Founders, Manufacturers and Merchants to Printers". This exhaustive catalogue (quarto, 539 pgs.) includes crisp black-and-white and vivid color plates thruout. Solid and VG in its dark leatherette, with decorative blindstamping to the panels. Light, forgivable weat at the boards, internally clean as could be, with no writing or markings of anny kind.
