Champ Prophylactics (Ted Williams)

New York: National Hygienics Products Corp., A wonderful baseball rarity: "Ted Williams" condoms, circa late 1950s. Small baseball-themed cardboard box (with obvious Ted Williams likeness swinging for the fences) containing 4 separate packets (each in their original shrinkwarp and containing the same Ted Williams likeness on each of the packets) of 3 comdoms, making for one dozen. "Clean sanitary factory sealed prophylactic rubbers -- Sold for the prevention of disease". Mercifully, all unopened (again, in their shrinkwrap) and in Fine condition. One of the great late 50s/early 60s baseball curios, one wonders if Ted Williams ever even knew of this fly-by-night, goofy attempt to cash in on his popularity. (Item ID: 6504)
